It wasn’t like this was the first time I’ve acted on hormones alone, I told myself.

Sure, this was bound to rock my fucking world, but I didn’t care. I was past the point of caring if this was a good idea or not. I was attracted to Echo, and I was pretty sure I was addicted to her snarky attitude. I had already been onboard with seeing where this thing with her could go, but now that she’s walked into my house, of her own accord, and swallowed me down like a goddamn professional, there was no way I was letting her leave my house.

I had no idea what she did for a living. I had no idea what the deal was with her ex-husband. I knew nothing about her family or her friends. But whatever I didn’t know, I had plenty of time to learn all that later.

Grabbing her by the shoulders, I pulled her to her feet. “If you want me taking your clothes off, there’ll be nothing left of them,” I told her, letting her know just where my head was at.

She had decided she wanted me, and she’d come right over to collect.

Echo glanced down at herself, and in the most matter-of-fact voice, she said, “Well, it’s the only body I got.”

Her words had almost sounded like an apology, and I couldn’t have that. “It’s perfect,” I said. “It’s perfect for everything I want to do to it.”

Her eyes rounded with lust. “Wh…what do you want to do to it?”

“Take that bra off and I’ll show you,” I instructed as I reached for the waistband of her mint green panties.
